If you have a person on your Christmas list that is hard to shop for- I have just the idea for you- check out Foxtrot! I was recently introduced to this Chicago-based market. Which is filled with local goods and every day essentials. And- if you live in Illinois you can now ship their gifts! Which are all hand picked by experts- including their wine selection which is curated by their in house sommelier!
They had recently sent me their Chicago Foodie box and I wanted to share with you what was inside. This particular box has a lot of favorites from the Chicagoland area that I’ve known and grown up with. Including J.P. Graziano’s Hot giardiniera- a favorite of my husband’s. In fact, he has even ordered cases of it in the past because good giardiniera is hard to find in Florida.
The box also included Homemade Pasta from Monteverde- an Italian Restaurant in the West Loop. There was also locally made BBQ Sauce, homemade cookies and other sweet treats. As well as my personal favorite are the Frango Mints. I’ve had these since I was a little girl and they bring back wonderful memories of shopping with my Mother at Marshall Fields.

Those are some great ideas and I love what was in your box. You know I d be the Wine Lover box!
My FIL is 92 and is tricky to buy for, so we often make a basket of favorite foods and spreads, and it really enjoys it.
Seems men are tricker to buy for!
