Dressy Casual Summer Style 

Once I saw this tropical summer wrap maxi, it immediately had my attention. I love the color combo of pink and green. And, the floral with palms makes it feel as though you are paradise bound. 

Let’s get to the basics about the dress. This maxi is a flattering wrap dress that will compliment your figure. It’s a comfortable, easy to wear chic style. I found that it fits true to size, I’m wearing an XS. It is lightweight, made of polyester and spandex so it will not wrinkle. And best of all, it is machine washable!

Since this is a summer dress, I wanted to keep it casual. I paired it with these braided woven platform wedges. I thought they were cute with the tortoise buckle. Plus, I’m all about comfort when it comes to shoes and the wedge provides height with comfort. The shoes add to the tropical vibe, yet they can be worn with so many other summer outfits. I also added a floral necklace that I found locally here in Florida. Since the dress is a statement on its own, you just need one single piece of jewelry to add that finishing touch. A fun pair of drop earrings would be a wonderful compliment to this dress.

Style it your Way

This dress is perfect on its own with summer sandals. Yet it can also be styled over denim and a tank which I was really excited about. I chose to wear a pair of white jeans underneath in the pictures I took on the beach. It creates a bohemian vibe. I also added this straw belt and tucked the dresses sewn on belt straps underneath. I wanted this look to be fun, so I added a straw hat. This day it was windy on the beach so having the jeans underneath was a good thing. This combination is perfect for  boating or when you feel it’s going to be breezy.
