When I lived in the Midwest, I looked forward to seeing stores display their new and fresh spring clothing. Of course, spring weather is still a long way away. However, I find looking ahead to be refreshing and it gives me something to look forward to.
Perhaps you are planning a mid-winter vacation somewhere warm and need a few new items. Or you may want a sneak peek at the upcoming trends. Regardless, it’s fun to browse while we anxiously await springtime.
Recently while back in the Chicago-area I had the opportunity to visit Evereve located in Oakbrook Shopping Mall. Their Oakbrook store is one of their flagship locations. I have many fond memories of this mall, as I have been shopping here since I was a teen. After I was married we lived just minutes away, so I often brought my children who enjoyed seeing the fountains and making wishes.
I was excited to see what Evereve showcased for spring. What I particularly like about this store is that they sell clothing that fits every personality type. In addition, their sales staff are trained to help you with styling.

Evereve Spring Fashion Finds
This black jumpsuit I am wearing is the new version of a little black dress! It’s sleeveless and zippers up the back. I’m wearing a small, I did size up one size for personal comfort. You can wear this one piece casually with sneakers and a jean jacket. Or change your look with strappy sandals and add a leather jacket. Hands down, it’s a purchase you will get good use of.
How about these neon pumps, don’t they add a cool vibe to these light washed jeans! I was glad to find these high-waisted denim jeans. I hadn’t yet tried the trend and its a new look with the straight leg, but I am glad that I did! These jeans fit true to size and I took my normal size, 27 and I added a hot pink top for a little 90’s retro style which makes this outfit perfect for a girl’s night out or the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday. By the way, light washed jeans are going to be seen often this upcoming season.
Nothing like a classic checked blazer and loafers as seen here. I can picture wearing these Sam Edelman loafers into the spring and even into early summer. Once again, I added a pop of pink this time with a tank that’s perfect for layering. This is a cool outfit that you really can wear day or night. It’s a put together look that never gets dated.
We all want pieces we can wear more than once and in different ways. Especially while packing for a winter getaway! This ribbed maxi dress is another item of clothing that you can have fun with by changing out your shoes or adding on accessories.
I feel the need to tell you a funny story about this athleisure brand I’m wearing. My eldest son RJ who wore nothing but sweatpants throughout high school and college introduced me to this line! He is in his 30’s and has since graduated to a more luxurious style of casual wear. I’m very impressed with his recommendation as these pieces are very soft and comfortable for running errands and traveling. I have to admit he steered me right. In fact, I learned that the brand started with a men’s line selling these famous joggers.
If you’re looking for a little closet refresh, these tried and true pieces are closet essentials that you can wear almost all year long. Army green jackets and striped tees are a wining combination in my book. These jeans are by the brand AGOLDE which is really popular right now. They have more of a slim and stretchy fit. They hold you in, but give you enough room to move around so the denim doesn’t feel too stiff. Plus, the length was great for me. Check out these metallic sneakers I am wearing. Aren’t they fun? I wore them in most of the looks I featured here and think that they are very versatile.
And last but not least, I have another jumpsuit to show you. Right when I walked in the new store, this jumpsuit immediately caught my eye. This style is more of a utility style which is very on trend now. This style has been on my wish list for a few months. Wear it with boots like I did here, or as the weather gets warmer a pair of wedge sandals.
I hope you enjoyed my try on haul and sneak peek at Evereve 2022 spring fashion!

Hi Nancy
I love your picks! I have never been to Evereve and would have to see if/where there is one in Charlotte. The denim looks great on you. I just bought a few similar pairs on Madewell and like that they are more like real denim. The ribbed dress is lovely and you certainly could wear it many ways. That rose pink cardi is such a good color on you.

Jess,
You would look great in a jumpsuit because you are so tall. A black Jumpsuit is the new version of an LBD these days. So many ways to style them 🙂

I fell for both jumpsuits I tried on but the nice thing about the black on is that it is cropped and looks great with boots or flats. Being that I’m not very tall I will take anything that does not need alterations.
Happy Sunday!

These are some fabulous finds! I almost bought the Sundry blouse, but I didn’t see the other styles that you picked (even though I thought I gave the online sale a thorough look.) You have a good eye for investment pieces! Xo Nipa
