Outfit #1 Black Top / Snake Print Skirt
I love wearing skirts in the summer. They keep you cool and classy. This snake print skirt can be worn during the day, or even at night for a backyard bbq. To ensure the skirt remains the statement, opt for jewelry like this pair of gold hoops from Amazon which have great reviews. For a more casual look slip into a pair with sneakers or elevate the look with some wedges. Throw on your sunglasses and you are good to go.
Outfit #2 Stripe Top/ Snake print Skirt
Keeping the accessories the same, swap out the black knotted tie top for the striped top. I love mixing prints and think this provides a rather cool summer vibe. The color of this top is actually navy and pairs well with the snake print skirt.
Outfit #3 Chambray Shirt/ Snake print Skirt
A chambray top can be dressed up or down. And, this style staple by J.Crew can be worn throughout the year. So, experiment by layering it over another shirt or just buttoning it up to wear alone.
Outfit #4 Chambray Shirt/ Drawstring Shorts
These comfy drawstring shorts are found on Amazon and can be worn all day. Pair with an easy leather tote and pretty summer sandals like these from Sam Edelman.
Outfit #5 Stripe Top/ Drawstring Shorts
Wear some colorful accessories to add some fun to this neutral look! Oh, and don’t forget your watch to track your steps throughout the day. How many steps do you try to get in a day?
Outfit #6 Black Tie Top/ Drawstring Shorts
Top off this neutral outfit with a pop of color and/or metallic shine, like these jeweled sandals.
Outfit #7 Black Tie Top with White Denim
White Jeans provide a cool crisp look to your summer style. This fan favorite pair by Everlane hugs your curves and provides just the right amount of stretch. When you’re opting for a classic black-and-white ensemble, make sure your bag is a different color! This gorgeous bucket bag is the perfect summery shade.
Outfit #8 Stripe Top with White Denim
This look is wonderfully preppy chic. Keep it comfy and cute with some flat pearl-embellished sandals or add some height with wedges. Two of my favorite summer beauty products include this Nars Tinted Moisturizer with built in SPF and this RMS Beauty Highlighter which adds just the right amount of glow to your look.
Outfit # 9 Chambray Top with White Denim
Style your look with pearl embellished flat sandals and a timeless bucket bag. Bucket bags are great to wear right now. I love the cross body style to keep your hands free while you shop.
Outfit #10 Black Maxi Dress with Chambray Top (knotted)
Style this Black Maxi Dress with the Chambray Shirt. Wear as you would a jacket or even tie the chambray shirt in a knot at your waist.
Outfit #11 Black & White Stripe Top Underneath Black Maxi
Heading out into the sunshine? Layer the striped tee underneath your maxi dress. Keep your hair protected from the sun with this Panama style hat from Amazon. The hats are sold as a two pack. As an added bonus they have added SPF coverage built in! Add a pair of black sandals and you are all set.
Outfit #12 Black Maxi Dress
If you’re feeling fun add in a colorful tote like this to finish your look.
In the end, finding pieces that you love and finding several was to wear them is a win-win! First, it is easy on your budget. And secondly, it makes the decision of “what to wear” an easy one. But remember to switch it up with fun accessories like hats and jewelry, and don’t be afraid to try different shoes! Have fun styling!
