Graphic tees are easy to dress up or down and a unique way to make a statement. Pairing a graphic tee with jeans and heels will create an easy casual night out look. You can even match a graphic tee with a dressy sequin skirt as Brittany and I did here.

Because graphic tees can be dressed up or down, it’s fun to see how you can add them to your look.  If a phrase on a tee shirt speaks to you then go with it. A week or so ago, Brittany and I were shopping at Nordstrom and found these champagne t-shirts and couldn’t resist. It was right before the New Year and we thought it would be a fun look for our Ageless Ensemble. We both had the same sequin midi skirt from BCBG and thought that the casual fun graphic tee would be a fun look with the dressy skirt.

How to wear a graphic t-shirt

You can mix a graphic tee with a pair of casual shorts, jeans and a blazer, or your suit if you are headed out for cocktails.

You can also pair a graphic tee over leather jacket, layer under a slip dress or wear a classic button down shirt under your t-shirt.

Right now, I’m feeling that it’s a great way to send a message without saying a word. Our graphic tees have personality of their own.

There are also several tee shirts with our favorite rock bands of the 70’s and 80’s being worn proudly by loyal music fans.  Remember the Rolling Stones Lips? To me these shirts give a cool vibe, I say go ahead and give one a try.

I’m sharing a recipe that Brittany came across on Pinterest from Meghan Markle’s former blog- The Tig- Champagne Cocktails. A special and simple cocktail that is sure to bring the holiday cheer.

Recipe

In a chilled Champagne flute, add cranberry juice. Top off the glass with Champagne and spritz of lime. Garnish with 3 or 4 cranberries. That’s it! Greet your guests with a fun treat or bring the ingredients with to your New Years Party to enjoy with friends.
