How to Layer Necklaces
Jewelry is an expression of your style. Right now, initial jewelry is climbing the trends, and what could be more personal than your initials? Today, I’m sharing How to Layer Necklaces…
I’m excited to share my newest pieces from LAGOS Jewelry—the icon two-tone caviar necklace with the diamond initial charm. The 18K gold sterling silver two-tone design and the Caviar beading on the chain are a signature of LAGOS.
I especially like the two-tone because I wear a lot of silver and gold. Mixing metals is popular, and it allows you the opportunity to keep wearing your favorite pieces.
While wearing jewelry, we are encouraged to use our creativity and let the pieces reflect our personality. Yet it is essential to keep a balance when adding pieces. This means keeping in portion your choice of metals, lengths, and chain styles.
I like to stick to three necklaces. Any more than that looks heavy and can get tangled around your neck. To start, think about your one focal necklace, such as this initial charm necklace, then add a delicate chain, and if you are in the mood, one longer piece with another charm. The lengths can vary. You’ll also want to ensure that each of your necklaces is centered. Also, keep in mind what you are wearing, as you will need to ensure that the neckline will not hide your jewelry.
LAGOS jewelry is often interchangeable, where you can mix and match different collections. With its expert craftsmanship, you can combine and match other pieces. I couldn’t resist adding this delicate two-tone beaded Caviar bracelet. I plan to wear it alongside my watch.

Nancy,
Your Lagos pieces are lovely. I too, prefer wearing the smaller items of good jewelry. They are always clasic and in good taste. And layering is an excellent way to add more depth and contrast at the neckline. Plus it’s fun too!
