NYDJ Review

Wearing one color makes a subtle yet classy statement. Although you might be tested with creativity when dressing in all one color, it will always give you a well put together look. Ivory is a softer, more calming version of white. Plus, it comes in several shades and tones. Wearing ivory gives you an uncomplicated classic look. The key to successfully pulling off a single-color monochromatic look is by adding texture in each piece. Today I am styling this ivory look with pieces from the brand, NYDJ

Off white is less bright than white. If you live in a region where spring is cool, it’s a wonderful color to introduce into your wardrobe. It’s pure and simple color is season-less. With that being said, purchasing items in natural shades of ivory and cream can be worn year-round. 

NYDJ Jeans + Sweater

These wide legged ankle jeans from NYDJ are an excellent base to build your all-ivory outfit. The minute I slipped them on they smoothed my silhouette with it’s lift tuck technology designed to shape and support. The flared frayed hemline is right on trend. It’s very soft with a touch of cashmere that makes it feel very cozy. The button-down front gives you many options for layering. It’s cable detail adds the right amount of texture for a monochromatic look.

Wearing all ivory has a sense of peacefulness about it. You can add intrigue by introducing a hint of color. While tan and brown pair nicely with cream anytime of year, I suggest you try soft pastels for spring. In these photos, I choose an off-white camisole, but for cooler weather, I think a bluish or gray toned chambray shirt would be an excellent choice.
