Bonjour Ladies! Spring is almost in the air- and I have the perfect classic fashion finds for you. Have you heard of Sezane? It’s a sustainable fashion brand based in Paris, France, which my daughter Brittany introduced me to. I’m genuinely impressed with their classic French style. There has always been something captivating about how French women present themselves. However, let’s be honest: my lifestyle may be less glamorous. So, to maintain my desire to dress with that effortless French flair, I’ve had to be mindful. Shopping at Sezane instantly transports me to Paris; their website inspires my inner French Girl. Opting for timeless, classic pieces allows me to achieve that desired casual chic look without sacrificing comfort or practicality, which is why I enjoy shopping at Sezane. Their selection of well-made neutrals like trench coats, blouses, trousers, and jackets keeps my wardrobe fresh and versatile year after year. Read below for my Sezane Clothing Review
What I’ve bought + loved from Sezane
How does shipping work?
Shopping online at Sezane couldn’t be easier. Initially, the thought of buying something from Europe made me a little apprehensive. However, shopping their site, I was instantly transported to Paris, making me feel as though I was browsing my chicest friend’s closet from the comfort of my home. Shipping was easy. My items arrived beautifully packaged. Returns were simple as well. I purchased two sizes of a sweater uncertain, which would better suit me (I recommend sizing down in their knitwear). Using the same box and the enclosed shipping label, I was able to return it. Now, here’s what I kept…
Scott Trench Coat
The Scott Trench Coat is a seasonal bestseller for a reason. Elegance in every stitch. This trench coat is a must-have. I am impressed with both the quality and the versatility of the jacket. Wear it over evening dresses or casually throw it on for warmth with sneakers and jeans. It’s crafted with precision and detail to keep you cozy in cold and damp weather. As for sizing, I took my regular size.
Bianca Blouse
I recently wore the Bianca blouse out and received numerous compliments. The Bianca Blouse is available in three colors: Bleu Vintage, Ecru, and Noir. I purchased in a size 34, which I would compare to a size small. The lace detail adds a touch of femininity. Although the lace stitching is intricate, I still wear a camisole underneath for extra coverage. The cotton blend fabric can be washed on a delicate cycle, which is easy at home.
Trousers
To pair with the blouse, I picked up the Emilio Wool trousers. I was drawn to their stitched panel in front, which offers a stylish touch. I like the patch pockets in the front, which are fully lined. I’m wearing the molted ecru color; however, they also come in navy blue and ochre. Because I took a lighter color in this style, I did go up one size.
Charmaine Dress
For spring, I ordered the Charmaine Dress. I thought that this print was unique. The dress is well-crafted. However, it was a little short for my liking. It’s 34.2″ long. I kept it and will most likely pass it along to my daughter Brittany.
Will Camel Suede Coat
Will Power! It is another timeless closet staple. You can wear this jacket all year round- throw it over a summer dress or layer it with crisp button-downs and jeans. I also saw it styled with a mock turtleneck and trousers, which make for a cool, chic look. The 100% goat leather suede is well-made and feels luxurious. However, I would advise against wearing it near the grandchildren because it does require special cleaning.
Sezane Clothing Review
Here’s the key takeaway from my experience with shopping at Sezane: While their pieces may be on the more expensive side, I find that investing in timeless staples and incorporating a trendy statement piece here and there will allow you always to look stylish and never outdated. Plus, it saves you from accumulating a closet full of items you rarely wear in the long run. So Sezane has my stamp of approval.
