Spring fashion always brings excitement about sunny days ahead or warm weather winter vacations. Either way, we all start to refresh our closets from heavier winter clothing to lighter fabrics and textures for spring. Living in Florida, with winter temperatures between the 40s to 60s, I also need to rearrange my closet and prepare for spring and summer. These three classy spring outfits are from Encore by Idina Menzel. Inspired by her busy celebrity lifestyle, she created a collection of chic, easy-to-wear styles. I found these great-looking transitional pieces perfect for women like me that want fashionable yet comfortable and affordable clothing.
Three Classy Spring Outfits
You can wear these loose-fitting cotton gauze pants with a tank top (I love these from Target, under $8!), sweater, or even over your bathing suit as a cover-up. I’m wearing a size extra small, which is roomy enough to fit sizes 2-4. Likewise, the boat neck lightweight striped sweater I’m wearing is extra small and true to size.
Another on-the-go look is this trendy-looking jumpsuit, I’m wearing an extra small in a Khaki green, and it runs a little big. I liked that it came with a belt to pull it together. Even though you don’t see, it also has a hoodie in the back, and this is great for when those unexpected cloud bursts shower down. It’s a comfortable cotton knit that you’ll want to wear all day long. Wear it with boots in cooler temps or sandals and tennis shoes in warmer weather.
Lastly, who doesn’t love a functional tee-shirt dress? The bright orange drew my attention to this midi-length sleeveless cotton dress. There are several ways to change the look by adding fashion jewelry, sweaters, denim jackets, or favorite footwear. Just throw it on, and you are set to go!
These few pieces are great for travel and get you started building a new spring wardrobe.

Nancy, these are all fabulous on you! Stripes have been catching my eye lately and love the gauze pants. All of these look like great travel pieces. We are looking into Martha’s Vineyard.

Hello Jess,
Stripes are always refreshing and meant to be worn in spring and summer. Did you know they were first worn by sailors that wanted to be seen if they fell into the water? That’s a fun fact isn’t it. I hope you get to go on that vacation it sounds wonderful.
My best,
Nancy

I love the jumpsuit especially in that colour. How comfy would that be. Florida’s climate sounds like Brisbane where I
used to live.

This jumpsuit is a go to for me! It doesn’t wrinkle and can be worn all day into the evening. Thanks for visiting my blog today 🙂
