Thanksgiving will be slightly different this year. But hey, we got this, right?! Throughout the last eight months, we have all adapted to new ways to celebrate. And, Thanksgiving is just one more celebration that we will need to slightly alter. A good portion of 2020 will become the most talked-about time in our lives. So, why not make this Thanksgiving a meaningful day. The menu is most likely already planned. So, it’s time to game plan and ask yourself, what to wear on Thanksgiving?
Put on something that makes you feel like this holiday is something other than ordinary! Pull out the dishes you save for special occasions, light candles, swipe on some lipstick. Use this opportunity to have some fun with your style. Look for cozy and soft fabrics to mix and match.
So whether you are staying at home or visiting a few family members, I am cooking up a little outfit inspiration for you below.
What to Wear on Thanksgiving : Cozy Outfit Inspiration
For casual gatherings at home, comfort is key. You’ll want to build your look around a few of your favorite style staples that make you feel good. Find a nice pair of comfortable jeans that have a little bit of stretch. Feeling festive? You may want to even try a pair of trendy paperbag high waisted faux leather pants. You can adjust the waist as the day goes on, or after your second helping of pumpkin pie. Add a cozy oversized sweater that’s soft and warm.
Try these Jeans and tunic sweater with warm yet stylish boots. Or these sleek leggings and an oversized sweater like this with these comfortable boots
Comfortable & Stylish All Day
If you are planning on hosting, I suggest a comfortable dress. A flowy and roomy style will leave you feeling easy as you will most likely be on your feet all day. Set the tone for your guests as you will still want to be festive, even if you are at home. Pair the unexpected sneakers with a dress. Your guests will gobble up your stylish flair.
If you live in a warmer climate, try this tank dress or this long halter dress. You will be serving in style with this sweater dress like this and casual sneakers . For an effortless look try this Roomy Tie Waist Jumpsuit . You can even wear a blazer with a comfortable joggers and top to look polished yet feel very comfortable.
Don’t forget about hostess gifts. Even if you are staying at home, find something fun for yourself to make the day special.
Lastly, I just want to leave you with this thought- Though our celebrations may be simplified, our gratitude should be glorified.
Happy Thanksgiving!
