I love to add color to my wardrobe. I have had this pair of red pants now for a few seasons and have quite enjoyed the different ways I can style them. I found this pair of red pants on sale at Ann Taylor. They run true to size and I like that they have a little bit of stretch. A few sizes are still left in stock.

Now, I understand that wearing red can be tricky. It is a statement color. You will want to tone it down with your other wardrobe accessories. This year to show a little love, I have chosen to style red pants. Red pants can be very versatile. Plus, if worn appropriately, you can wear red pants all year round.

Did you know that February 5^th is National Wear Red Day? Actually, the entire month of February is considered American Heart Month. The American Heart association encourages everyone across the nation to wear red in an effort to display their support for heart health awareness. And, let us not forget that on Valentine’s Day, red colored heart shaped boxes of chocolate and red roses are often gifted to express desire for that someone special. With that said, wearing red, the color of love, can be a fun way to show your affectionate side on Valentine’s Day.

Keeping it classic. I first styled the red pants with an oversized white button down blouse. Next, I added a statement piece with the leopard oxfords.

Red Pants and a classic Denim shirt. A classic denim shirt is very versatile. You can easily dress it up or down. For this picture, I decided to go for a casual vibe with a pair of sneakers. You can also throw on an ivory sweater or a black blazer for a more polished look.

Wearing red boosts confidence. Plus, it is a symbol of strength. Red is power color. In this case, girl power.
